Lauren Drapala, Director of Programs

Lauren joined HPEF in 2023 to oversee the organization’s partnership programs, which include Partners in Training (PiT), Partners in Documentation (PiD), Preserving the Recent Past initiative and the AIA Continuing Education Credits Preservation Brief Quiz Series. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Design History at Bard Graduate Center and serves as a Lecturer in the Boston Architectural College’s Historic Preservation graduate program. She has over a decade of experience working as a preservation consultant and architectural conservator, having held positions at Building Conservation Associates, DBVW Architects, Historic House Trust of NYC and Fairmount Park Conservancy.
